Two different ways a browser can remember something
“Cookie” often gets used for any saved setting. Browsers have more than one place to keep a preference.

When you load the Google Maps embed on our contact page, Google may process data and use its own cookies.

What happens when you choose “Got it”
When you dismiss the homepage notice, our script saves the choice in browser localStorage under fga-cookie-notice, with the value seen.
That is browser local storage, not a cookie.
A notice appears
On the homepage, you’ll see a “Got it” button beside a link to this page.
The notice stays dismissed
Once that value is saved, the notice stays hidden when you come back, whether you visit the poker page or another part of the site.
Reading about poker, dining, or events does not create a separate preference in this notice code.

Google Maps is not stored in our local preference
The map on our contact page loads separately from the notice setting, even if you’ve just been checking poker details.
You can use the map link when you want directions, or skip the embed.
What to expect
Loading the Google Maps embed may let Google process information about the request and may involve Google cookies. We can’t promise that no third-party cookies will be used.
Google’s handling is governed by Google’s own settings and notices. Your browser can offer controls for third-party cookies and site data.
